An OS for every farm. A platform for every builder.
AgriOS is not a single advisory app — it is a whole-farm operating system with open extension points. Bring your agents, sensors, and services; AgriOS handles consent, orchestration, and delivery in the farmer's own language.
Why an OS, not an app.
A single advisory app gives one answer to one question. An operating system gives every agent on the farm access to the same ground truth — soil, weather, market prices, credit history, government scheme eligibility — while routing outputs to the right actor at the right moment.
AgriOS adds a permissions layer, an orchestration bus, and a language runtime on top of that shared context. Third-party agents and services slot in through defined extension points, not backdoors. Farmers grant and revoke access in their own language. The OS enforces the boundary; partners build above it.
Five pillars of an open farm OS.
Capability-scoped permissions
Every data access by a third party requires an explicit, per-capability token consented to by the farmer — in Hindi, Marathi, or English — and aligned with India's DPDP Act. No blanket access; no silent data flows.
Build and register new agents
A structured SDK will let vetted partners build specialised agents — pest ID, cold-chain logistics, input credit — that run natively alongside the core 22 inside AgriOS, sharing the same context bus and language layer.
Connect sensors and devices
A driver model will let hardware partners plug new IoT sensors, soil probes, weather stations, and drones into AgriOS as first-class data sources — normalised, time-stamped, and available to every agent on the platform.
/api/ext/v1 — stable partner surface
A versioned REST surface will let agri-service providers read farm state, trigger advisory actions, and push data back — all gated by the consent layer. Backwards-compatible across minor versions, with deprecation notices well in advance.
An agent and extension catalogue
Farmers will browse, install, and revoke third-party agents or extensions directly from their AgriOS dashboard. Discovery is built in; so is one-tap consent revocation. The farm stays in control.
